Trichoderma harzianum T-22

Material Safety Datasheet (pdf)

TRIANUM-P product leaflet (pdf)

General

TRIANUM-P increases the resistance of plants to stress caused by diseases, sub-optimal feeding and watering regimes or climatic conditions, and increases nutrient uptake. This can enhance the growth and development of roots and above-ground plant parts.

For use in the cultivation of vegetables, soft fruit, herbs, bulbs, ornamentals, perennials, turf and arboriculture (both protected and open field).

TRIANUM-P is manufactured by BioWorks Inc., Fairport, NY, USA.

TRIANUM-P is a trademark of Koppert B.V., the Netherlands

Use

  • TRIANUM-P increases the resistance of plants to stress caused by diseases, sub-optimal feeding and watering regimes or climatic conditions, and increases nutrient uptake. This can enhance the growth and development of roots and above-ground plant parts.
  • For use in the cultivation of vegetables, soft fruit, herbs, bulbs, ornamentals, perennials, turf and arboriculture (both protected and open field).
  • TRIANUM-P performs well under various environmental conditions. It grows under a wide temperature range (10-34°C), at a pH between 4-8, in many types of culture media and on the roots of many types of crops.
  • Apply TRIANUM-P as early as possible in the crop for optimal effect.

Preparation of solution

For application as drench:

  • Add a small volume of water to the required amount of TRIANUM-P, and mix thoroughly to suspend the product.
  • Add more water until the final drench volume is obtained.
  • Agitate continuously to maintain an even suspension.
  • TRIANUM-P can be applied without special drenching equipment, but it is important to remove filters with a mesh width smaller than 150 microns to prevent blockage of the equipment.
  • Dissolved TRIANUM-P does not pass sandfilters

Application and dose

Use sufficient suspension to guarantee good penetration of the culture medium or the soil, but avoid run-off and excess drainage.

Propagation

Apply 1.5 grams of TRIANUM-P per m² of cultivated area (suspended in 2.5 - 5 litres of water) immediately after sowing or planting cuttings (non-rooted or rooted).

Cultivation in soil at high crop density, with little space between plants (vegetables, herbs, bulbs, ornamentals, perennials and arboriculture)

  • Apply TRIANUM-P directly after planting, at a dose of 3.0 grams per m² of cultivated area (suspended in 10 litres of water).
  • Apply TRIANUM-P at half dose (1.5 grams per m²) if plants were treated during the propagation stage.
  • Repeat the treatment with TRIANUM-P every 10-12 weeks or after re-potting into larger containers, also using half the dose.

Cultivation in soil and substrate in rows, or at lower crop density, where plants are more widely spaced (vegetables, soft fruit, ornamentals, perennials and arboriculture)

  • Apply TRIANUM-P directly after planting, at a dose of 30 grams per 1,000 pots (suspended in 100 litres of water).
  • Apply TRIANUM-P at half dose (15 grams per 1,000 pots) if plants were treated during the propagation stage.
  • Repeat the treatment with TRIANUM-P every 10-12 weeks or after re-potting into larger containers, also using half the dose.

Turf

  • Apply TRIANUM-P as soon as the soil temperature exceeds 8°C.
  • Apply TRIANUM-P twice (with an interval of one month) at a dose of 45 grams per 100 m² in early spring.
  • For continuous presence of TRIANUM-P in the root zone, further applications at a dose of 15 grams per 100 m² (fairways/tees) or 30 grams per 100 m2 (greens) are recommended at monthly intervals in summer and autumn.
  • The final application should be at least 4 weeks before autumn dormancy.
  • If over-seeding, mix TRIANUM-P with grass seed at a dose of 125 grams of TRIANUM-P per 50 kg of seed.
