Introduction

  • release parasitic wasps between leaves

MINUSA is recommended at low levels of infection.

Appearance

Adults D.s.: size 2-3 mm, dark-brown to black, long antennae

Other stages: develop inside/outside host

 

Mode of action

Female adult parasitic wasps of Dacnusa sibirica lay an egg inside the leaf miner larva. The parasitic wasp develops inside the leaf miner pupa.

 

Visual effect

Two weeks after introduction it is possible to observe parasitization. Presence of Dacnusa sibirica can only be estimated by dissecting larvae in the laboratory.
