IdealFix tubers/bulbs is a 100% biostimulant tuber/bulb dressing based on in vitro produced high quality spores mycorrhizal spores, that enhances plant growth and vigor under suboptimal nutritional and environmental conditions.
How does Idealfix work?
IdealFix contains in vitro produced high-quality spores of mycorrhizal fungus Rhizophagus irregularis MUCL57021. The mycorrhizal spores germinate in the soil and colonize the root system of the plantlet via an active cross-talking resulting in the establishment of a symbiotic relationship which favors the two partners (plant and fungi). Once the symbiosis is established, the fungi create an hyphal network outside of the root system which is able to explore the surrounding bulk soil including areas otherwise unavailable for plant roots. In consequence, plants expand their root system water, nutrient and microbes uptake capacity. These beneficial fungi forms arbuscular structures within plant root cells that highly increase the surface for nutrient interchange. The carbon fixed by plant during the photosynthesis is transferred to the fungus in response to otherwise unavailable water and nutrients (especially phosphorous) acquired by the extraradical mycelial network. This web is able to connect neighboring plants and naturally present beneficial soil microbes can move along the hyphal network. Thus, IdealFix provide the structural scaffold for the foundation of a healthier, more robust and uniform crop.
How to use IdealFix
Application Idealfix
Do not inoculate tubers/bulbs more than 24 hours before seeding. Spores should preferably be applied directly before sowing to maintain quality and viability of mycorrhizal spores in good conditions. In case of tuber/bulb storage for 24 hours, keep treated tubers/bulbs in closed recipients (non-permeable to air) at fresh temperature (<15°C) to avoid dressing desiccation. Treatments will be applied at the recommended doses for each product as tuber/bulb dressing. Product can be refrigerated (2-8 °C). Store the product at constant temperature at all times. Do not freeze product.
Instructions for usage:
Shake the bottle well before use.
Dilute the required quantity of IdealFix with tap water.
Maintain a constant and effective agitation (turbulent flow) in the tank during application.
Check specification when using Mafex or Pieper-Does or equivalent:
Use filters with openings of at least 280 μm.
Use diaphragm pump for product application. Up and down agitation at all times in the tank (turbulent flow).
Band width should be limited to 18 cm or less.
Apply directly before sowing.
Store the treated tubers/bulbs in a dark place between 2-15°C in closed recipients for a maximum of a 24 hours.

Best working conditions IdealFix
The mycorrhizal spores that establish symbiosis with plant root system and connect them under the soil surface ensure that IdealFix performs maintaining a good yield even under not optimal nutritional and environmental conditions.
Handling
In-vitro produced mycorrhizal spores are sensitive to desiccation stress, resulting in short life expectancy after application on tuber/bulb surface and soil with low water availability. Therefore, they need to be introduced into the crop as soon as possible after tuber/bulb dressing. In case of in furrow application, sowing hole should be cover directly after sowing/transplanting. Failure to do so can have a negative impact in their quality, but not affect plant growth and development. In case you do need to store IdealFix, please follow the recommendations. Mycorrhizal fungi growth can be affected by simultaneously application of pesticides. Check compatibility table to determine if co-application is compatible, non-compatible or variable (affected by application method, rates or references). Foliar application is usually compatible when pesticides do not present a systemic mode of action. For fungicide drench application, the application should be performed 2 weeks before inoculation or 4 weeks after inoculation.
Compatibility with pesticides (fungicides, insecticides and herbicides)
