Application

Release in piles on the growing media. Each pile should contain 50-100 beetles. The beetles are adapt to most growing situations (beds, pots, seedling/cutting propagation areas, etc.) and can easily colonize the area.

Dosage

The dosage of Atheta depends on climate, crop and pest pressure and should always be adjusted to the particular situation. One application at the beginning of the growing cycle, and a smaller re-application at each transplant is sufficient to enable Atheta populations to establish effectively. Dosage may vary from 1 (preventive) to 10 (high curative) individuals/m2. Consult a Koppert advisor or a recognized distributor of Koppert products for advice on the best strategy for your situation.
