We are proud to announce the launch of our 2024 Sustainability Report, which underscores the company’s sharpened focus, evolving ambitions, and commitment to sustainable agriculture, people, and the planet.
Our 2024 edition represents a significant step forward. It aligns with emerging global standards, including preparations for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) set to take effect in the 2027 financial year. Structured around Koppert’s Future Forward sustainability strategy, the report centers on three core pillars: environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance (ESG).
“We are taking a pragmatic and forward-looking approach to integrating sustainability into our day-to-day decision-making,” said Erik-Jan Verdegaal, CFO of Koppert. “Our priority is to align operations with evolving regulatory requirements while ensuring financial resilience. That means making intentional, informed decisions—not reactive ones—while focusing on compliance readiness, long-term value creation, and greater transparency.”
