The cultivation of medicinal cannabis requires the use of biological solutions for pests and diseases. For obvious reasons, no chemical agents are used to ensure that the end-product is free of any harmful residues. Experts will be sharing their know-how and experience at the GreenTech international fair in Amsterdam from 28 to 30 September.

Product Manager, Jenette Douma will give a presentation on this subject at the Vision Stage & Xpert Theatre during GreenTech’s ‘Medicinal Cannabis’ session. You can attend the session in person or online on the fair’s virtual platform. The Medicinal Crops session will be held on Wednesday 29 September from 16.15 to 17.00. Other speakers in this session will be René Corsten-Delphy (Delphy) and Ben Nikaj (Grodan).

‘When it comes to medicinal cannabis, our current focus is on aphid control. With the help of our R&D team we are continuously developing biological solutions to control harmful aphids. We also pay a great deal of attention to the root system, making plants more stronger through the introduction of biostimulants,’ Jenette Douma explains.

This year’s GreenTech has been called the ‘Special Edition’ as it is their first live fair since the outbreak of the COVID pandemic. More than 100 companies will showcase their most recent horticultural innovations and almost 4000 in-person visitors and online visitors are expected to attend.
