Sustainability report 2023

Understanding our present, moving Future Forward

Our first sustainability report marks a significant milestone for Koppert as we expand our commitment to sustainability beyond our agricultural solutions. In this report, we measure, assess, and evaluate the environmental impact of our business practices, highlighting our ongoing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This is a critical step toward fostering transparency in everything we do.

Although we are not yet required to comply with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), we are taking a proactive approach to ensure we meet these standards by 2026. We are fully dedicated to continually improving both our sustainability practices and reporting methods. By aligning with the upcoming CSRD regulations, we aim to set a new industry benchmark for transparency and accountability.

''In 2023, we embarked on a transformative journey that challenges us to look beyond what we do and consider how we do it.'' - Rene Koppert, CEO

Message from the CEO

As we navigate the complexities of modern business, one truth becomes increasingly evident: transparency and trust is not just a choice; it is a necessity for success. In 2023, we embarked on a transformative journey that challenges us to look beyond what we do and consider how we do it. To consider sustainability not just in terms of our solutions but also our business practices. And to be more transparent about where we are today and where we are going.
