Tiagan contains a unique spectrum of bio-active compounds which provide a dual protection. After the application of the product, the bio-active compounds form a protective layer on the plant surface to prevent the germination of pathogenic spores. This protects leaves, stems, and grapes, providing a strong preventive action. Secondly, Tiagan triggers the plant immune system by upregulating the PR-genes. These encode for Pathogenesis-Related proteins, which play important roles in preventing the growth and development of pathogens in the plant, particularly by degrading and rupturing microbial cell walls.

Tiagan can be applied as a foliar spray using conventional spraying equipment. For optimal efficacy, good coverage of the crop is required. Direct the spray onto both the underside and upperside of the leaves. For optimal results, repeat the Tiagan treatment at the specified interval to maintain a protective coverage on newly developing plant parts throughout the growing season.

Tiagan is compatible for tank mixing with a wide range of other solutions but may be affected by some products. The product is safe for most beneficial insects and beneficial mites. Before using Tiagan, always check the Koppert Side Effects App or consult your Koppert representative to confirm compatibility with other tank-mix partners and its safety on beneficial insects present in the crop.
Tiagan has a rainfastness up to 20 mm of rain.
