Reducing plastic pollution: We celebrate World Environment Day

World Environment Day is an annual event celebrated on June 5th, serving as a global platform to raise awareness about pressing environmental issues and promote positive change. In the context of this year’s theme "Beat Plastic Pollution," we are aiming to raise awareness about the issue and highlight our continuous efforts in reduction of our waste, plastic use and fostering sustainable practices in our operations.

Plastic pollution poses a severe threat to the environment and ecosystems worldwide. Every year, approximately 8 million metric tons of plastic waste disrupt delicate ecosystems. Plastic pollution in agriculture is a pressing environmental issue that arises from the excessive use of plastic materials in farming practices.

Recognizing the urgency, one of our sustainability missions is to work towards zero waste while using 100% eco-friendly materials for our products by 2030. This way we reduce waste for our customers. It is a huge challenge, and we are on a journey championing eco-friendly solutions where we can in our packaging materials.
